Bad Blogger!!

I know!  I know!  I've been a BAD BLOGGER!!!

When did life get so hectic?!  Well, I guess it has always been that way - sometimes we just have to shuffle the things we give our attention and energy to (sorry blog-land).

Anyway, Summer is here and we're looking forward to a little relaxation in between basketball practices and games and summer school and DIY-home improvement projects and cupcake baking and puppy dogs and... and...  and...!  Hopefully I'll get some creating and some blogging done in there too!

Moulin Rouge

I've been SOOOOO busy getting ready for Artistic Affaire Moulin Rouge!  I am beyond excited about spending a weekend with my sweet "crafty girls" - creating, laughing, sharing....

Happy New Year, Sweeties!

I figured that January 1st, 2011, would be a good day for a blog post.  Over the past few months, I've been thinking about how to "better" myself.  Of course, I've come up with the usual, "lose weight".  I'm pretty tired of living LARGE.  More than my appearance though, I want to work on what's inside.

• Be a more thoughtful person.
• Smile more.
• Think before I speak.
• Pray.
• Tell the people I care about how much I love and appreciate them (on a regular basis).
• Don't take anything for granted.
• Complain less.
• Communicate.
• Define boundaries.
• Create.
• Give.

I have high hopes for 2011.  Hopes for peace, love and happiness.

I wish the same for each and every one of you.
