Greetings from the Grand Canyon!

Just a quick note to check in and say "hello"! We've enjoyed the last few days at the Grand Canyon with the whole Weller Family! Yesterday, we took a jeep tour of the Rim and then a tour of some old native american cave paintings - AWESOME!! Pictures coming soon...
Today, we're headed to Sedona, AZ and then to our home-away-from-home in Mesa, AZ (it's supposed to be 112 degrees there today!! YIKES!!).
Hope you are all well!!

Jewels of the Sea Pendant Swap

Speckled Egg is hosting a wonderful swap called
"Jewels of the Sea" Pendant Swap.
Over 30 swappers were to each make six pendants.
I decided to try my hand at altered domino pendants.
I think they turned out pretty well. I made one extra for our lovely hostess!
Can't wait to see what everyone else has created!

"Hook, Line and Sinker"

Each pendant is individually packaged with sand, a metal charm,
tiny shells collected from my many trips to Florida, a pearl,
and teeny, tiny glass beads.
I named most of them after Ariel's sisters from The Little Mermaid.

"Andrina"

" Adella"

"Arista"

"I'm Hooked"

"Allana"

"Atina"

My friend, Teresa took me to Cheesecake Factory for lunch the day before.
Look at all of the cute cupcake stuff she gave me!!

More cupcake love from my friend, Cherie!!
She even made me cupcakes!!!

I have ALWAYS wanted one of these mini-cake stands!
Woo-hoo!! Now I have one!!! The chocolate cupcakes were DELISH!!!!

My friend Elmo sent me some Sweet Debbie's Organic Cupcakes.
They were a bit beat up after their trip. I ate one right away - Vanilla/Vanilla!

I also got flowers from my Hubby, a Starbucks gift card, Old Navy gift card and a Target gift card! My friend Lisa and I had a belated celebration and went to a Moroccan restaurant for dinner! Fun, fun!!!

All in all, turning 37 wasn't so bad! Not yet anyway...
