Happy New Year, Sweeties!

I figured that January 1st, 2011, would be a good day for a blog post.  Over the past few months, I've been thinking about how to "better" myself.  Of course, I've come up with the usual, "lose weight".  I'm pretty tired of living LARGE.  More than my appearance though, I want to work on what's inside.

• Be a more thoughtful person.
• Smile more.
• Think before I speak.
• Pray.
• Tell the people I care about how much I love and appreciate them (on a regular basis).
• Don't take anything for granted.
• Complain less.
• Communicate.
• Define boundaries.
• Create.
• Give.

I have high hopes for 2011.  Hopes for peace, love and happiness.

I wish the same for each and every one of you.

Happy 40th Wedding Anniversary to my Mom & Dad!!Sometimes they made marriage look easy and other times they showed that it takes work, but it's worth the struggle.  I am so thankful for the examples of real love that they've been to me.  Thanks for showing us how it's done, Mom & Dad!
